The former Black Sabbath singer - who will co-host the ceremony with his wife/manager Sharon - was ecstatic at the prospect of fulfilling his lifelong dream of sharing the stage with the former Beatle.

But McCartney, 65, has since decided to perform a simple solo set instead.

He says, "You can either go for something wow or just do a couple of hits - I've opted for the latter. I'm quite happy to be just doing stuff that I hope the audience will like."

He adds, "This year will be outstanding - because Ozzy is presenting."

The annual awards ceremony will take place in London on February 20.

The 27-year-old has been in the studio recording her upcoming country LP - and her father/manager Joe Simpson insists she is eager to share the process with Country Music Television (CMT) viewers.

He explains, "With Newlyweds, she let everyone into her world. Then she had to shut the world out.

"Now she can open it up again so people can see, here's a girl struggling with self-esteem and finding her way. Country music is about storytelling, after all."

But a representative for the star explains tells UsMagazine.com the project is "not for a reality show. Jessica is finishing her country album in Nashville. They're in talks with CMT for a special timed to air when the album is released, but there's no truth whatsoever to there being a reality show."

Simpson became a household name in 2003 after taking part in MTV's hit reality series Newlyweds: Nick And Jessica with her then-husband, singer Nick Lachey. The pair divorced in 2006 after the fourth season of the program aired.

Kelly's former publicist Regina Daniels claims his wife severed ties with the R&B star because of a sexual relationship the singer had with their daughter.

Regina quit her longtime post in November amid rumors R. Kelly - who faces 14 counts of having sex with a minor in a trial in May - had embarked on an intimate romance with her then-21-year-old daughter Maxine.

And now music industry veteran George Daniels has confirmed the singer's involvement with their daughter was what caused his wife to terminate her contract with Kelly.

He says, "He crossed the line with my daughter. It didn't get to the extreme of that (alleged sex tape) video or else I wouldn't be here, if you know what I'm talking about."

Though Maxine was of legal age, George claims Kelly still took advantage of her. He adds, "When you're 21, and if you've been there already like I've been many years ago, you're still 15 to 16 mentally. You're vulnerable."

And George - who was aware of rumors of Kelly's fling with his daughter - as furious when he originally confronted the singer.

He says, "He denied it. He lied to me to my face. The reason that I'm talking abut this, it's not just for me, it's not for my wife, it's not for my daughter, but it's for the public.

"It's for other fathers and mothers because it doesn't have to be a superstar, it could be the dude on the corner. There are guys who sit around and give your child a couple of bucks to go to school and then wait until they get a little older, then they set that trap. See, so I'm doing this really for everyone."

The group released the ground-breaking album in 1969 which was turned into a 1975 film starring frontman Roger Daltrey, as well as a stage version. And now Townshend has revealed the pair is in talks to bring back the musical, which includes the classic hit Pinball Wizard, to the stage next year.

He says, "I'm keen to do something to celebrate 40 years of Tommy. Of course, it would probably involve me and Roger in some form."

The Back to Black hit-maker sang at Sunday's Los Angeles ceremony via satellite link-up from London, but awards officials thought her body art was too racy for an American prime-time audience and ordered the soul sensation to cover up the explicit pictures.

So the resourceful singer drew a make-shift bra onto the image on her right arm using black eyeliner - which she was able to wash straight off following her performance.

Winehouse scooped five awards at the event including Best New Artist and Song of the Year for her 2006 hit single Rehab.

She says, "I began the adoption process right after I finished my treatment. Wyatt (her son) came in May last year. I have always felt like I was meant to be a mom, but I had kept it from happening because I had believed that you are supposed to look for a family with a mum and a dad. When my relationship fell apart just before I was diagnosed with cancer, I said, 'Right I'm going to rethink this.'"

(AP) - The Eagles will headline a newly added third day of the Stagecoach Country Music Festival this spring in Indio, Calif.

The group - Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmit - will perform material from their latest album ''Long Road Out of Eden,'' as well as classic songs from their 30-plus year career, festival officials said Wednesday. The Eagles will play May 2 along with John Fogerty, Trisha Yearwood, Shelby Lynne, Glen Campbell and Rissi Palmer.

The festival's previously announced lineup for May 3-4 includes Rascal Flatts, Tim McGraw, Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift, Trace Adkins, Dierks Bentley, Big & Rich, Dwight Yoakam, George Jones, Earl Scruggs and a reunion by The Judds. In all, more than 50 acts will perform on four stages over the three days.

The Eagles are fresh off a Grammy win (best country performance by a duo or group) for ''How Long,'' the lead single from ''Long Road Out of Eden.'' The song reached No. 23 on the country chart. The band also performed at the Country Music Association awards in November.
