Garth Brooks’ Electric L.A. Show Comes to AOL

Thursday, January 31st, 2008

Garth Brooks made music history over the weekend by performing five shows in two days at Los Angeles’ Staples Center. The country superstar organized the concerts in response to the devastating wildfires in California. All proceeds went to the Southern California 2008 Fire Intervention Relief Effort.

Watch exclusive footage from the first of Brooks’ five L.A. shows here on AOL Music. We have the rowdy performance of ‘Callin’ Baton Rouge,’ followed by the heartfelt duet with Trisha Yearwood, ‘In Another’s Eyes.’

Samantha Sidley

Thursday, January 31st, 2008

Samantha Sidley sang Don't Know Why by Norah Jones. She sounded exactly like her. Samantha was a very cute girl and I'm glad she sang well. However, I think she needs to find her own voice and work on her confidence, she seems way too shy. I think Samantha Sidley could go far.
