I Nine Release Video For ‘Seven Days Of Lonely’; Debut Due Early 2008
I Nine, a quartet from Orangeburg, a sleepy southern town tucked away in central South Carolina, are remarkably on the verge of authoring another chapter in this country’s musical heritage. The group is made up of charismatic lead singer Carmen Keigans, Bryan Gibson (lead guitar, cello), Matt Heath (bass) and Brian Whitman (guitar). Together the four members carry influences of traditional rock ‘n roll, emotive singer-songwriters, and, of course, southern rock. However, there’s a dichotomy to the songs of I Nine that veers between pop and more artsy, moody tunes – the result of having four people in a band who are all gifted songwriters.
I Nine have just released the video for their first single, “Seven Days of Lonely.” The song will quickly open people’s ears up to the enchanting, melodic sound of the band.
I Nine’s debut album, Heavy Weighs the King, will be released in 2008.
